The dandelion or dandelion (Taraxacum Latin name officinale), also known as “tooth of the lion” is a perennial herb and is known to many as mountain’s chicory. It is perennial with long toothed leaves and yellow flowers. It reaches a height until 30cm. The Dandelion needs moisture to develop, and for this reason there is in abundance in the Greek mountains and meadows, on the edges of roads, in the shadows of rocks etc. The origin of dandelion word is Greek and means that it heals the riots.
As beverage: 1 – 1/2 teaspoon for 7-12 minutes in boiling water. Strain and drink.
